Adrienne Houghton is an actress, recording artist, TV personality and style icon with undeniable star power. Currently the co-host of the Emmy® and NAACP Image Award-nominated “The Real,” Adrienne brings her infectious personality to viewers each day on Fox’s one-hour talk show. Houghton has been nominated for an Emmy® Award as Outstanding Talk Show Host and an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Talk Series. Adrienne, who is of Puerto Rican and Ecuadorian descent, is the first Latina daytime talk show host on English language television.
Born in the heart of New York City’s Lower East Side, Houghton was a household name by the time she was just 14 years old. Adrienne first stepped into the spotlight in 1999, when she rose to fame as the lead singer of the multiplatinum R&B girl group, 3LW. 3LW’s debut single, “No More (Baby I’m a Do Right),” was a smash hit in 2001. 3LW released a total of three studio albums, in addition to the greatest hits album “Neva Get Enuf.”
