Jerry Mathers and Tony Dow

Jerry Mathers has been an actor since the age of two, working with notable celebrities such as Bob
Hope, Alfred Hitchcock, Shirley MacLaine, and John Forsythe. He entered the hearts and homes of
America and the world in 1957 with Leave It To Beaver, the show that made him an American icon.
In 1957, Tony Dow was chosen for the role of “Wally” on Leave it to Beaver, which changed the course
of his life. After the show ended, he joined the General Hospital cast; and in the eighties began a career
in TV directing and producing that spanned 20 years.
