In The CW’s Golden Globe nominated comedy series “Jane The Virgin,” Ivonne Coll stars as Alba, Jane’s (Gina Rodriguez) tough as nails, but loving grandmother.

People’s Choice Award winner and Golden Globe nominee Ivonne Coll is a theater, television, and film actress from Fajardo, Puerto Rico. Coll had the fortune of training in drama among others with Lee Strasberg, comedy with Lucille Ball and musical theater with David Craig.

In The CW’s Golden Globe nominated comedy series “Jane The Virgin,” Brett Dier stars as Michael, a detective with the Miami Police Department, who would like nothing more than to get back together with Jane (Gina Rodriguez.)

Growing up in Canada, Dier knew early on he wanted to pursue acting.  His guest starring roles on series such as The CW’s “Emily Owens M.D.,” “The Secret Circle” and “Flashpoint,” led to recurring roles on “L.A. Complex” and “Mr. Young.”  He appeared in several episodes of the acclaimed series “Bomb Girls,” earning him a LEO nomination for his work.  More recently, he starred in the spin-off of “Pretty Little Liars,” “Ravenswood.”  Dier’s feature credits include leads in “Exeter” and “Grace”.

Jonathan Silverman plays Harrison Marlowe, a recently-separated businessman who discovers that his wife has begun dating their son’s best friend, on The CW’s new comedy “Significant Mother.”

Best known for his role in the cult comedy “Weekend At Bernie’s,” Silverman has appeared in over 50 feature films, Most recently, Silverman appeared in the feature films, “G.B.F” and “The Hungover Games.”

Silverman has also directed and produced several feature films, including the romantic comedy “A Bet’s a Bet,” and the National Lampoon comedy “Another Dirty Movie,” in which he won the Best Director Award at The LA Comedy Festival.

On television, Silverman was most recently seen in David E. Kelley’s drama “Monday Mornings” starring Alfred Molina and Ving Rhames.  He also starred in “The Single Guy,” which was created for him by Castle Rock Entertainment, and in “In Case of Emergency.”  On Showtime, Silverman has appeared in several movies, and executive produced and starred in “The Inspectors,” alongside Louis Gossett Jr.  Other television credits include “White Collar,” “Psych,” “Greek,” “CSI: Miami,” Law & Order: SVU,” “ER,” “Friends,” “Numb3rs,” “Close to Home” and “Hot In Cleveland.”



Josh Zuckerman plays Nate Marlowe, a budding restaurateur whose best friend begins dating his recently separated mother, in The CW’s new comedy “Significant Mother.”

Zuckerman is most widely recognized from his leading role in the 2008 feature film “Sex Drive,” opposite James Marsden.  He also quickly became a fan favorite in The CW’s “90210” as Naomi’s (AnnaLynne McCord) nerdy boyfriend Max.  His other television credits include “Desperate Housewives” as the notorious Wysteria Lane strangler.

Most recently, Zuckerman was seen in the feature film “CBGB,” where he starred as John Holmstrom, the founder of Punk Magazine.  Some of his past film credits include “Lions for Lambs,” directed by Robert Redford, “The Hottest State” with Ethan Hawke and “Surviving Christmas” with Ben Affleck.


Emma Fitzpatrick plays Sam on Significant Mother.  She recently filmed Chris Evans’ directorial debut, 1:30 TRAIN, starring Chris alongside Alice Eve. Previously, Emma was cast in SOCIAL NETWORK (Dir: David Fincher), and in the feature film IN TIME (Dir: Andrew Niccol). Her television credits include recent guest stars on CSI, REVIEW WITH FORREST MACNEIL, CSI: NY and UNDERCOVERS. Her hilarious video parody of Anne Hathaway in FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION / LES MISERABLES has received over one million views.

Emma is also lead vocalist in the retro pop band THE MOTS NOUVEAUX.


Jay Ali plays Atticus on “Significant Mother.”  He is a UK born actor who recurs as “Timothy,” the charming and charismatic English teacher on ABC Family’s THE FOSTERS. He will reprise his role as “Vaughan Daldry” in the 3rd season of the popular YouTube web series BLOOMERS.

Ali also had a supporting role opposite Diane Keaton, Kevin Kline, and Elizabeth Moss in the independent film DARLING COMPANION directed by Lawrence Kasdan.


The CW’s quirky new musical dramedy Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is represented in the parade.

Adriana is best known for her several roles in Televisa’s telenovelas like “La usurpadora” as Veroni-ca Soriano, “Rosalinda,” “Mariana de la Noche,” “Contra viento y marea,”  “Bajo Las Riendas del Amor,” and recently for her protagonist role in Telemundo’s successful telenovela “Corazón Va-liente” as Angela Valdez.

Scott Clifton portrays “William Spencer III”, aka “Liam”, the heir apparent to the Spencer Publishing dynasty on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. Clifton is no stranger to daytime television.  He appeared on One Life to Live and General Hospital. Clifton has received two Daytime Entertainment Emmy® awards, both for his work on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL and been nominated eight times. Clifton has appeared in many motion pictures as well as guest starred on numerous primetime television hits. His film credits include The Death Strip, Arizona Summer, and Terminal Error. An accomplished singer and songwriter, Clifton self-produced and self-released albums entitled “Untitled”, “Unbeautiful” and “So Much for the Night Life”.


Actor Jack Scalia, a Brooklyn native, decided to attempt Hollywood stardom as an actor after an injury ended a pro-baseball career. He started by modeling with Armani, later joining the Ford Modeling Agency and signing on as the “Jordache Jeans Man”. In January 1980, His first film role was in The Star Maker (1981), starring the late Rock Hudson. He then starred with Hudson again in the TV series, The Devlin Connection (1982). Galen Gering plays Rafe Hernandez, everyone’s favorite FBI agent on Days of our Lives.

A native of Los Angeles, Gering graduated with honors from the University of Miami in 1999. While pursuing his education in film and creative writing, he began modeling and has appeared in over 50 national commercials. Gering was featured in two independent films, and was named one of People Magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People” (2000). He made a guest star appearance on NBC’s “Miss Match” in 2004.

Gering is also a writer and filmmaker and used to play Pro-Am beach volleyball.

James Hong reprises his role as Mr. Ping, proprietor of the most popular noodle shop in the Valley of Peace. Mr. Ping may have lost his best, and only, employee to kung fu greatness, but he couldn’t be more proud of his panda son, Po. Kate Linder has been playing the role of Esther Valentine on the young and the Restless for 29 years and has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Since her brother-in-law was diagnosed with ALS she has traveled throughout the country as a celebrity spokesperson for ALS. She is also active with the Los Angeles Mission and many AIDS charities.


Christel Khalil plays Lily Winters on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. Bryton James portrays former foster kid Devon Hamilton on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS.  James was nominated for a Daytime Emmy as Outstanding Younger Actor 5 times and won in 2007. He was also nominated for NAACP Image Awards as Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama Series 5 times and won the award in 2009. Actress Emme Rylan joined General Hospital in the role of Leslie Lu “Lulu” Spencer Falconeri in 2013. The character of Lulu is the only daughter of Luke and Laura Spencer.

Prior to “General Hospital,” Rylan has appeared in several television shows including “CSI,” “Bleep My Dad Says,” “The Young and the Restless,” “Guiding Light” and “Jake and Josh.”  She was also in the feature, “Bring It On: All or Nothing.”

Kennedy has recently begun professional work in web, television, and film including traveling across the country to perform in workshop productions and Fringe festival productions of an original musical. Her goal is to be constantly improving herself in her craft and finding joy in new challenges and projects.

Los Angeles City Councilmember David E. Ryu represents the 4th Council District which includes the neighborhoods of Sherman Oaks, Toluca Lake, Hollywood, Hollywood Hills, Los Feliz, Silverlake, Miracle Mile, Hancock Park, Windsor Square, Larchmont and a portion of Koreatown.

He has worked for years on issues like public health, housing, children and family services, transportation and senior services. He also helped oversee the County budget and helped root out waste and fraudulent expenditures.

Ryu returned to the non-profit world at one of Los Angeles’s largest non-profit health care providers.

On July 1st, 2015 Ryu became the first Korean American to serve on the LA City Council and only the second Asian American.




Ron Galperin was sworn in as Controller of the City of Los Angeles on July 1, 2013. As Controller, Ron works as the watchdog for L.A.’s taxpayers and oversees a team responsible for conducting independent audits, managing the City’s payroll and disbursements, preparing reports on the City’s finances, providing information about the City’s finances and operations online—and focusing on modernization, management and metrics.




Supervisor Hilda L. Solis is the County Supervisor for the First District of Los Angeles County.

Prior to becoming Supervisor she served as Secretary of Labor, the first Latina to serve in the United States Cabinet. Before that, Supervisor Solis represented the 32nd Congressional District in California.



The finale to a great parade is the great big guy himself – Santa Claus! He has been taking time away from his toy workshop for eighty years to bring smiles to everyone’s face along the parade route. There’s no better tribute to the man in red than through the famous song written by Gene Autry as he heard the children yell­ing, “Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus!” After 82 wonderful years, Santa is just as thrilled to be here tonight as he was the first time. HO! HO! HO!
