The Roundtable of Southern California Chinese American Organizations is a nonprofit organization known as RCAO. It organizes events to promote economic development and cultural exchanges between the U.S. and China. Its 176 Chinese organizations have actively donated to local communities. RCAO has participated in the Hollywood Christmas Parade three times in the past 10 years with great success. The RCAO Parade Team this year consists of five formations: the lion and dragon dancing, the waist drum-fan performance, the Kong FuChinese martial arts, and the Hanfu and Cheongsam fashion shows.

Lion dancing is an ancient Chinese folk art, symbolizing bravery, strength, and luckiness.
The Waist drum and fan performance has a history of a thousand years and is still lively and joyous.
The Kung Fu demonstration will include the world champion in women’s kung fu technique.
The 5000 year old Hanfu traditional Chinese clothing will be presented with its wonderful colors and unique designs.
The cheongsam style shows Chinese women’s charm and confidence through elegant fashion.
