Viva Panama Organization (VPO)

Viva Panama Organization (VPO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, presenting, and promoting Panama’s culture. For the past 33 years, VPO has taken pride in the cultural richness and the warmth of our people within the multicultural community of Southern California and beyond. Founded in 1991 and guided by the slogan “sharing the culture of Panama with the world,” VPO is committed to representing and promoting Panama and its culture internationally. The organization has actively shared its cultural heritage in Southern California’s elementary and secondary schools, universities, cultural centers, local and international festivals, and exhibitions at convention centers. The Ballet Folklorico Viva Panama offers a high-quality representation of Panama’s spirit and flavor, showcasing the nation’s culture and image worldwide. It has performed in over 95 cities across California and has traveled to Las Vegas, Texas, and internationally to locations such as Mexico, Puerto Rico, Canada, China, Monaco, France, and Italy. This year marks VPO’s fourth proud participation in The Hollywood Christmas Parade, where they bring forth the true spirit of the Panamanian people. Viva Panama!
