The Divas and Drummers of Compton is a dance and drumline program of 1 Shine Youth, a non-profit youth center which provides programming for inner city youth in the city of Compton and surrounding cities.
These hard-working professionals receive performing arts and music education training weekly. As a result of their hard work, dedication, and leadership, these youth were Finalists for NBC’s America’s Got Talent and have been blessed with an opportunity to perform for the NFL Super Bowl 2022 Pre-Game Show and the NFL season opener Rams vs 49ers September 2023 at the SOFI stadium in Los Angeles.
Additionally, they were selected by the NBA to perform for the Lakers Halftime show and are so excited to perform for the Hollywood Christmas Parade. One of the goals of the Divas and Drummers of Compton is to spread love and positivity by exuding confidence through our talents while entertaining and inspiring the community.
