Tanisha, born in Tokyo, Japan, began her career with FORD Models and has since become an accomplished model, television host, writer, and actress. With a bachelor’s degree in media arts and marketing from the University of Arizona, she transitioned from the fashion industry into entertainment, hosting, writing, and co-producing award-winning content.
As an actress, Tanisha has appeared in television commercials and films, with credits including Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Dear White People, Hacks, Dollface, and General Hospital.
Her work in fashion includes features in Vogue, Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire, as well as campaigns for Ralph Lauren and L’Oréal Paris. Tanisha was a runner-up in the sixth season of the reality competition series Project Runway in 2009.
