Since its founding in 1949, the band program at Milton High School has been an integral part of the school and community and has a decades-long history of excellence. Over 160 students participate in the extracurricular marching band that has received consistent superior ratings, in addition to multiple class and grand championship awards at competitive marching band events. In recent years the marching band has represented MHS at the 2014, 2018 and 2021 New York City Veterans Day Parade and the 2016 and 2020 Hollywood Christmas Parade.
