The West Pride Marching Band has made a record number of appearances in the London England New Years Day parade. They have appeared ten times over the last 30 years – appearing more than any other group from around the world. The marching band consistently receives top ratings as does the Wind Ensemble. In fact, the Wind Ensemble was the last performance in the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, home of the Kansas City Symphony, before the Covid-19 shut-down. The band is excited to be in Hollywood for the kick off of the Christmas season.
Of special note, the banner carriers for the band tonight are triplets – Ashlyn, Calista, and Nora Loss. Their mom Christy played in this band when she was in high school.
