These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of thehollywoodchristmasparade.org (the “Site”), the official website of The Hollywood Christmas Parade (the “Parade”), which is presented by Associated Television International (“ATI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) in association with The City of Los Angeles. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Use of the Site

The Site is provided for your personal, non-commercial use, to give information about the Parade. You agree not to:

Intellectual Property

The Site and its contents — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, video, audio, and layout — are owned by or licensed to ATI and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. “The Hollywood Christmas Parade” and associated names, logos, and designs are trademarks and service marks of their respective owners.

You may view and print Site content for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use — including reproduction, modification, distribution, republication, public display, or commercial exploitation — requires our prior written permission.

Participation, Sponsorship, and Media Enquiries

Information on the Site about entering the Parade, sponsoring it, or covering it as media is provided for general guidance only. It is not an offer, and it does not create any entitlement to participate. All applications are subject to review, available capacity, permitting requirements, safety considerations, and any separate agreement, rules, waiver, or release we or the relevant authorities require. Acceptance is at our sole discretion, and entries may be declined or withdrawn at any time.

Event Information Is Subject to Change

Parade dates, times, routes, street closures, line-ups, grand marshals, performers, sponsors, ticketing arrangements, and television or streaming broadcast dates are subject to change, postponement, or cancellation without notice, including for reasons of weather, public safety, permitting, or circumstances beyond our control. We publish this information in good faith but do not warrant that it is current or complete. Always check for the latest information before making travel, accommodation, or other arrangements, and rely on official announcements and the instructions of public safety authorities on the day.

Attending the Parade

The Parade takes place on public streets. Attendance is at your own risk, and you are responsible for your own safety and that of those in your care. You must follow the directions of law enforcement, event staff, and public safety personnel at all times.

The Parade is photographed, filmed, and televised. By attending, you consent to being recorded and to the use of your image, likeness, and voice in broadcasts, streams, recordings, photographs, and promotional and archival materials relating to the Parade, in any medium now known or later developed, without further notice, compensation, or credit.

Tickets and Third-Party Transactions

Tickets and grandstand seating, where offered, are sold through third-party ticketing providers. Those transactions are governed by the provider’s own terms, and any refund, exchange, or delivery question must be taken up with the provider. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, transactions between you and a ticketing provider, sponsor, vendor, or other third party.

Submissions

We welcome enquiries, but we do not accept unsolicited creative materials, concepts, or proposals. If you send us any material through the Site or otherwise — including comments, suggestions, photographs, or video — you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, modify, and display it in connection with the Parade and our business, and you confirm that you have the right to grant that licence. We treat such material as non-confidential.

Accuracy of Content

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Site accurate and current, but content may contain errors, omissions, or out-of-date information, and may be changed or removed at any time without notice. The Site is provided for informational purposes and should not be relied on as the sole basis for any decision. Please also read our Disclaimer.

Third-Party Links and Content

The Site contains links to, and embedded content from, websites and services operated by others, including sponsors, partners, ticketing providers, charities, video platforms, and social media networks. We do not control those services, we do not endorse them by linking to them, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.

Charitable Partners

The Parade has historically supported charitable causes, including Marine Toys for Tots. References to a charitable partner on the Site are informational. Any donation you make is made to that organisation directly and is governed by its own terms and policies. We do not collect donations through this Site.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that it is free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ATI and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any content on it, whether based in contract, tort, strict liability, or any other theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ATI and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or connected with your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted, and we will update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.
