The “Jet Velocity Holiday All Star Band” is a super fun & high energy celebrity band that returns this year for the 90th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade supporting Marine Toys for Tots! This all-star cast is the holiday version of the “Jet Velocity All Star Band” and is led by the songwriting team of the guitar-slinging singer Jason Ebs (Peter Criss & SWAGGERMOUTH) & the soulful-singing Janea Chadwick Ebs (Joe Cocker & ECOTONIC). This year’s line-up features Adam Kury from Candlebox on the Bass, Teddy “Zig-Zag” Andreadis from Guns & Roses on piano/organ, Glen Sobel from Alice Cooper & Hollywood Vampires on the drums, Britt Lightning from Vixen on acoustic guitar and vocals, Roberta Freeman from Pink Floyd and Guns & Roses on backing vocals, and Mitch Perry from CHER & Edgar Winter on guitar.
As a Veteran of the United States Army Reserves, Jason displays an American flag on his mic to honor those who’ve served and to those whove paid the ultimate sacrifice. The JVHASB made it’s debut at the 89th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade last year and were honored to open the show! Their maiden performance was at yet another Christmas fundraiser in 2013 at the Hilton Las Vegas for the Marine Toys For Tots Christmas Show and featured the amazing producer Bob Kulick (KISS, Meatloaf) on guitar. This began their tradition of being joined onstage by legendary players, and since then the list has grown to include Chris Slade (AC/DC), Joe Vitale (Joe Walsh), Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath), Hugh McDonald (Bon Jovi), Michael Anthony (Van Halen), Rudy Sarzo (OZZY), Denny Seiwell (Paul McCartney & Wings), and many others.
This year they’ll be performing two of their newly released original songs. Available on iTunes, “Christmas Every Day” and “Christmas Time Tonight” were recorded by this year’s line-up and were mixed & produced by Jason Ebs at Ebsworthy Sounds in Las Vegas and mastered by Damon Tedesco in Los Angeles.
