Franklin Central Marching Flashes

The Franklin Central Marching Flashes, representing Franklin Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, have built a proud tradition of excellence, innovation, and unforgettable performances. A longtime competitor in ISSMA Open Class A and Bands of America, the Marching Flashes have earned numerous ISSMA Gold Ratings and appearances at ISSMA Semi-State while regularly competing on the Bands of America stage. Their rich competitive history also includes remarkable success at the Indiana State Fair Band Day, where Franklin Central became the first band in the event’s history to win four consecutive championships, later adding back-to-back championships in 1998 and 1999. In recent seasons, the Marching Flashes have continued that tradition of achievement, earning ISSMA Gold Ratings and competing in the prestigious Bands of America Indianapolis Super Regional. The Franklin Central Marching Flashes continue to inspire audiences while proudly representing their school and the Indianapolis community, and are excited to be a part of the 2026 Hollywood Christmas Parade!
