The Greenwood Marching Woodmen & Irish Guard is from Greenwood Community High School in Greenwood, IN. The band has performed at the Hollywood Christmas Parade in 2001, 2005, 2009, 2013, and 2017. The band is a 41 time Indiana State School of Music Association Marching Band State Finalist, a 15 time Class B Marching Band State Champion, and was the 2018 Bands of America Super Regional Class AA Champion.

Fun Facts: The 1976 championship show featured the musical selection “Somewhere over the

Rainbow” from the Wizard of Oz. Since then, the band has played an excerpt of that song as a part of the traditional warm-up before competitions.
