San Simon Caporales

Caporales San Simon is a cultural association that is dedicated to sharing the rich Bolivian folklore through the dance of Caporales. This is a very popular dance that originated in the city of La Paz in 1969, in which it was inspired by the Afro-Bolivian Saya dance that came from the region of the Yungas in Bolivia.  Nowadays, the performance of Caporales is enriched with vibrant choreography, colorful costumes, and compromised of multiple affiliations around the world.
