The Burton Bulldog Marching Band has a long-standing tradition of excellence, pride, and competitive success. For generations, the Bulldogs have represented Burton Middle School and the Porterville community with a commitment to musicianship, discipline, teamwork, and a relentless pursuit of greatness.
Under the direction of Jack Amaral, Laura Velarde, Hugo Baez, and Carlos Rojas, the Burton Bulldog Marching Band continues to perform at the highest level, earning Superior ratings at music festivals and numerous Sweepstakes Awards at prestigious marching band competitions throughout California.
More than just a marching band, the Bulldogs are a proud part of the Porterville community. Through performances, parades, competitions, and community events, the band brings music, school spirit, and Bulldog pride to audiences both near and far.
