Mexican-Lebanese actress Emeraude Toubia is set to star in the upcoming Amazon Original series With
Love.
Toubia gained worldwide popularity starring in the hit TV series Shadowhunters, based on the
bestselling young adult fantasy series The Mortal Instruments. Her success on the award-winning show
was cemented with two Teen Choice Award nominations for best actress. She has since graced multiple
coveted magazine covers, from Cosmopolitan Mexico and Latin America to Harper’s Bazaar and People
En Español’s Most Beautiful issue.
In addition to her continued achievements as an actress, brand ambassador, magazine darling,
storyteller and artist, Toubia’s entrepreneurial spirit has created various endeavors, including her
clothing line, Love, Em, which is an ode to women who, like her, believe in the power of femininity,
confidence and comfort along with her multi-platform production company, The Emerald Co., which
allowed her to recently garner her first Co-Executive Producer credit.
When she is not working, Toubia has a huge place in her heart for charity and is passionate about
championing social issues. She strongly believes in giving back to her communities, whether it’s
delivering food to people living in a local landfill near her grandmother’s hometown, volunteering for a
number of non-profit organizations, including Toys for Tots and the Make-a-Wish Foundation or leading
the “Queen for a Day” program at her hometown’s children’s hospital and mentoring youth through
Step Up.
