Riverview High School Kiltie Band

The Riverview High School Kiltie Band was formed in 1958, and is currently under the leadership of Director of Bands Andy Dubbert, and Associate Directors Norm Vagn and Chuck Evans.  Throughout the 61 – year history of the program, the band has participated in parades, concert festivals, and competitions throughout the United States and the Kilties earned the titled “World Renowned” by marching in the Dublin, Ireland St. Patrick’s Day Parade in 1989 and 2009. Finally, the Kiltie Band has received the highest possible overall rating of Superior at annual Florida Bandmasters Association Performance Assessments in every single year of the bands existence, an accomplishment that very few in the state of Florida have matched.
